This is a 2 day course, offered by Sids and Kids NT, held in Darwin on the 19th and 22nd May, 2017

This course is ideal for:

  • Nurses / Midwives
  • Social Workers / Pastoral workers
  • Health /Child Professionals NGO Staff
  • Community Members and Bereaved Parents
  • Those who would like to volunteer with SIDS and Kids NT

A two-day training course designed to equip people, including bereaved parents, interested community members, and health & child professionals with the knowledge and skills to respond & provide support to families who have recently suffered the death of a baby or child. Volunteer opportunities are available after completion of this course. SIDS and Kids NT are also looking for volunteers to becoming a Support Person for our 24 hour bereavement phone. Becoming a volunteer is not a requirement of you doing this course.
